The Horn of Africa is experiencing one of the worst droughts in 60 years. Food is out of reach for close to 10 million people in the already impoverished countries, and children are the worst hit and most vulnerable to the effects of severe acute malnutrition.  

   They need immediate nutritional support. In some of the largest refugee camps in the world, malnutrition rates have risen dramatically due to the overwhelming influx of arrivals. Many of these are children (almost 40% in some camps) are suffering from the worst cases of malnutrition.
