Crossroads Staff Gene Oden - Lead Pastor Lead Pastor Gene Oden served continuously in church leadership for 18 years, while working full time in the business world. Retired from a career in construction management, Gene now leverages his leadership skills for a higher calling. For over five years in the 1990's Gene served as Worship Leader for Agape Life Church in Arvada, Colorado. Moving to Enterprise, Alabama in 1997, Gene served as Worship Leader for Extreme Youth Ministries at Glory to Him Fellowship for three and a half years. Beginning in 2001, Gene served on staff at Cornerstone Church in Dothan, Alabama for over six years as Minister of Music, and for three years as Youth Pastor in The Loft, Cornerstone's student ministry. An anointed leader and inspiring preacher, Gene teaches God's pure word with a keen awareness of the need for cultural relevance and practical application. With a heart for whole family ministry, Gene and his wife Leslie are the founding pastors of Crossroads Community Church in Enterprise, Alabama.
